If you want to learn more about hunger and poverty in the GTA you’ve come to the right place! At Daily Bread Food Bank we know that many students are required to visit a non-profit organization or conduct an interview with the staff member of a non-profit organization as part of their learning process. We also know that students have the ability to promote change in their communities both inside and outside of their school environment. We would love for you to make Daily Bread Food Bank part of that change by enlisting in the fight against hunger. Start learning now! The link above will take you to some Frequently Asked Questions or FAQs. These questions are the ones that are most often asked by students. This document can help you build a foundation of knowledge about Daily Bread Food Bank, so it is a good place to start on a school project. We want to hear new questions, so be sure to use this info to expand on ideas and questions surrounding food banks, hunger, poverty and other related issues. We’ll be happy to answer questions or point you in the right direction. Take the tour Whether you are working alone or in a group, you can plan a visit and see our facility. You will see what happens to those cans of tuna and boxes of macaroni and cheese that you donated during one of our food drives. You will also find out where else our food donations come from throughout the year and learn about how we help members of our community deal with hunger and poverty. Add an extra bonus to your visit: Create a set of interesting interview questions and speak with one of our staff members or volunteers. Remember to think outside the box!
